Perinatal Mental Health Therapist in Connecticut & New York

Perinatal mental health is my main area of expertise. I am a psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut and New York, and I help women and couples with the emotional side of becoming a parent: trying to conceive, fertility treatment, pregnancy, loss, and the months after a baby arrives. I see clients in person at my office in Greenwich, CT (Cos Cob) and virtually anywhere in Connecticut or New York, including Darien and Rye and Westchester.

What is perinatal mental health?

Perinatal mental health is your emotional well-being on the path to parenthood. It covers the time before you conceive, during pregnancy, and after birth. This stretch of life can bring joy, and it can also bring anxiety, low mood, grief and stress that are hard to talk about with the people around you.

What I help with

Partners are welcome. These experiences affect both of you, often in different ways.

How I work

My style is supportive, solution focused, non judgmental and collaborative. I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, and I take time in tailoring your therapeutic experience to meet your individual needs and goals.

I have completed Postpartum Support International's Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care training.
